By Bus and Train:

There is direct and fast hourly connection from the airport to Karlovy Vary. From Karlovy Vary you can use local transport (to Jachymov and then the free ski bus via Bozi Dar) or Taxi (relatively cheap). Klinovec is approximately 20 km away.

Trains are not recommended either from Prague to Karlovy Vary or from Karlovy Vary to Klinovec as the journey time is excessive.

Currency:

A good place to change money is the exchange office by the baggage arrivals lounge. There are also numerous cash point machines in the airport after customs.

Supermarkets:

The village of Haj has a small shop, which will cater for your basic needs. Major supermarkets are found in: Prague Chomotov Ostrov Karlovy Vary.

There are even Tesco hypermarkets in Prague and Karlovy Vary. Supermarkets are a lot cheaper in the Czech Republic than in Germany. A lot of Germans shop in the Czech Republic!
